Sustainability Action Plan

Making sustainability clear, engaging, and accessible

Legat Architects’ Sustainability Action Plan communicates the firm’s goals and ongoing commitment to sustainable design. I led the redesign of the publication, establishing a clearer visual hierarchy and cohesive graphic language to make dense, content-heavy information easier to navigate and more engaging to explore, while aligning the publication with the firm’s new brand identity.

The Challenge

Building Clarity and Consistency Through Design

The existing Sustainability Action Plan contained valuable information, but its text-heavy layouts and limited visual hierarchy made the content difficult to scan and engage with. The redesign needed to make the information more approachable while introducing a visual system that reflected Legat’s new brand identity.

Design Approach

Creating a More Engaging Visual System

I introduced a more structured layout system with stronger typography, intentional use of color, and simplified graphics to create clear points of entry throughout the publication. Photography and visual elements were integrated to break up dense content, while consistent styles across each section helped create a cohesive experience from page to page.

The Final Publication

A Clearer, More Cohesive Experience

The redesigned Sustainability Action Plan brings together clear information hierarchy, engaging visuals, and a consistent graphic language to create a publication that is easier to navigate and more inviting to explore. The final design gives Legat’s sustainability initiatives a stronger visual presence while creating a cohesive expression of the firm’s new brand identity.
